So, our baby girl is already 2 months old. Seems like forever ago that she was born...and yet, so short! Some of the things she's doing: Smiling LOTS (as usual), cooing, watching and smiling at big brother and sister, sleeping in her crib during daytime naps, sleeping through the night (most nights!), takes a bottle if she HAS to. She had her 2 month check-up this week, and had her first immunizations, and weighed in at 9 lbs. 4 oz.! So, she IS growing! Still she seems so tiny. The doctor also noticed her snorting and congested breathing. He said she most likely has TracheoMalacia. Big word huh? It's basically a floppy airway...soft cartlidge near the voice box...which collapses each time she breaths in...causing a "strider" as they call it (or the snorting congested sound). So, she has to go see an Ear, Nose, Throat surgeon to have it looked at. Please pray for her...that the Lord would heal her, and that there would be no cause for any surgeries or other procedures.
We are just loving her so much. What a sweet treasure she is...it's just the best word to describe children. It's like getting to open and reopen a present every day..and each time it's something so wonderful!
What a beautiful precious treasure. Erik and I will pray for her healing, and that there would be an alternative for surgery. I cannot wait to MEET precious Elsa and your other kids. Erik and I booked our tickets a couple of days ago. June 17-24. :)
